She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Allen Bunting, Sr. and Nellie Cromer Bunting; her husband Paul Gene Baxley; her brothers, Joseph Allen Bunting and Richard Bunting; and her son-in-law Walter Lawson.
She is survived by: her close friend Ruth Elliot; her daughters, Teresa Lawson of Ramseur and Paula Speight (Robert) of Trinity; her sisters, Barbara Diane Owens of Asheboro, Carolyn Everhart of Asheboro and Wanda Maness (Dwayne) of Asheboro; her granddaughter Laura Stockwell-Whitt (Tony) of Trinity; her great grandchildren, Aveline Whitt and Cambridge Whitt; and her close friends, Darla McDonald and June Garner. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
