He was predeceased by: his father David Ray Staley; and his brothers, David Ray Staley Jr. and Benny Ray Staley. He is survived by: his mother Annie Porter Staley of Seagrove; his sons, Daniel Staley of Seagrove and Nick Staley (Megan) of Seagrove; his grandchildren, Levi and Emma Staley of Seagrove; and his siblings, Ruth Grantham (Samuel) of Seagrove, Danny Staley (Linda) of Seagrove and Kenneth Staley of Seagrove. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
