With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Leora Caviness Smith (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 11, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Caviness and Rolela Mae Haithcox Caviness; her husband Jack Smith; and her siblings, Armp Caviness, Frank Caviness, Howard Caviness, Edgar Caviness, Ola Stevens and Edith Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Moore (Danny), Jackie Smith and Ronnie Smith (Vickie); her grandchildren, Angie Freeman Banks, Robert Freeman, Connie Smith Pugh, Mickey Smith and Megan Moore McMasters; and her sister Ruth Smith. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
