It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Medley Leonhardt (Asheboro, North Carolina), born in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Leonhardt; and her daughter Saundra Leonhardt Channell. She is survived by: her parents, James Edgar and Etta Marie Wagoner Medley; her sons, Larry Leonhardt (Tammy) of Powell, TN and Doug Leonhardt (Laurie) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Dalton Leonhardt (Natalie), Cole Leonhardt, Greg Leonhardt, Grant Leonhardt, Mandi Yarab (Joel), Jason Channell (Sommer) and Casey Channell; and her siblings, Betty Ferguson of Pilot Mountain and Garfield Medley of Mt. Airy.
