It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Garner Dunn (Asheboro, North Carolina), born in Seagrove, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Garner and Mary Etta Garner; her son Jimmy Dunn, Jr.; and her sisters, Rosa Garner and Betty Hinshaw (J. R.).
She is survived by: her husband James Dunn, Sr.; her son Matt Dunn (Ginny) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Jeremy Loman, Maggie and Susie Dunn; and her siblings, Doug Garner (Gail), Roby Garner (Diane), Tommy Garner and Julia Kitley (Marsden). She is also survived by loving friends and neighbors.
