She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Hudson and Jewel Ruth Spivey Hudson; her siblings, Kathlene Kidd, Nettie York, Charles Floyd Hudson and Johnny Hudson; and her grandson Jonathan Freeman.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Freeman; her son Steve Freeman (Shirley) of Franklinville; her granddaughter Samantha Freeman (Alex Adkins) of Ramseur; her granddaughter-in-law Melissa Freeman; her great grandchildren, Dillon Adkins, Austin Freeman, Hannah Freeman and Preston Freeman; her brother Bill Hudson (Hazel Hudson) of Eden; her sister-in-law Betty Hudson of Randleman; and her nieces and nephews, Denny Hudson, Douglas Hudson, Ricky Hudson, Shane York, Jewell Stripling and Billy York.
