He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Benjamin Pope and Ola Mae Arnold Pope. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ann Small (Kim); his children, Emily Pope Patterson (Will) of Asheboro and Matthew Pope (Whitney) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, David Patterson, Katie Patterson, Wesley Patterson, Sawyer Patterson and Shelby Pope; his brother Tony Pope (Sheila) of Trinity; and his nieces, Courtney Pope and Haley Pope.
