It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Perrow McDaniel of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Paul and Rosa King McDaniel; and his siblings, R. J. McDaniel, Jack McDaniel, Frances Hall, Virginia Luther and Alan McDaniel.
He is survived by: his son Louis P. "Ricky" McDaniel, Jr. of Farmville, VA.; his sister Maggie Norris of Asheboro; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Wilson of Ocean Isle, Elizabeth Dowdy of Roanoke, Jean Abernathy of Ocean Isle, Susan King of Roanoke, VA, John Dowdy (Pam Jankowski) of Asheboro and Ronnie Gillespie of Asheboro.
