She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee Garren and Gay Williams Sluss; and her stepfather Thurman Sluss (Tony Parrish). She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lou Parrish of Asheboro, Lisa Mae Zuniga (Martin) of Asheboro and Tony Wayne Parrish (Vanessa) of Booneville; her siblings, Eleanor Faye McDowell (Billy) of Denton and Ronnie Garren (Sue) of Asheboro; her stepbrother Glen Willliams of Willie Williams; her grandchildren, Juana Zuniga, Martin Zuniga, Alex Zuniga, Matthew Parrish, Ryan Parrish and Ansley Parrish; her great grandchild Tony Zuniga; and her significant other Jimmy Ray Brower. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
