It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta McCaskill Harris of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Moore and Jurlean McCaskill Moore; her husband Tommy Harris; her son Megeal Demon McCaskill; and her brother Ronnie Moore.

She is survived by: her niece Briana Robinson; her son Marquese McCaskill of Asheboro; her siblings, Phyllis Robinson (Calvin) of Asheboro and Ben Moore (Whitney) of Ramseur; and her close friend Henry Baldwin. She is also survived by two step children; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

I look over the rainbow behind the great sunny midst and I said maybe one of the colors in the rainbow is where she is. I look at the beach or the camping grounds she adored, maybe she is there? I know where she is, she is in her favorite song, but when the song played there was no Lorretta. I fell to my knees only to find out where she truly is, she nuzzled in my heart.
