She is survived by: her children, Katie Hardister and Justin Kissell; her close friend Dale Burrows of Asheboro; her mother Margaret McKnight Thompson of Ridgeland, MS; her siblings, Charles "Bubba" Simpson (Susan) of Alabaster, AL, Kriss Kennedy of Ridgeland, MS and Angie Luther (Tim) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Aliyah Grandberry, Kaden Kissell and Avery Kissell; her niece Thames Kennedy; her nephews, Reid Simpson and Taylor Coleman; and also, Allene, Wayne McGrady, Dustin, Megan Burrows, Derek, Sherry Burrows, Chance, Logan and Lacey.
