She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jackson Anderson, Jr. and Minnie Lambeth Anderson; her husband Joseph G. Cox; and her brother Ronnie Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Lynne Cox Garren (Jack) of Asheboro and David M. Cox (Laura) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Joanna R. Cox (Brian Walthall) and Macy E. Cox; and her great grandchild Lacy Walthall.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
