He is survived by: his wife Betty Lea Hinesley; his children, Lisa Merritt (Chuck) of Durham, Lee Hinesley (Jennifer) of Asheboro, Scott Hinesley (Sharon) of Charlotte and Blair Luther-Davis (Jason) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Caroline Hinesley, Glenn Luther, Mattie Luther, Emma Hinesley, Will Hinesley, Virginia Luther, Ben Hinesley, Boone Hinesley, McKay Luther, Addison Davis, Avery Davis and Harper Davis.
