She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Elisha Akin and Virginia Lee Lewis Akin; and her grandparents, Louis, Hattie Akin, Olen and Juanita Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Kat (Bryan Bulla), Susan (Jimmy Ferguson), Beth (Joe Roehrick) and Erik (Kristine Williams); her grandchildren, Laura Warrenfeltz, Brody, MacKenzie Williams, Logan Williams and Chloe Williams; her great grandchild Carson Warrenfeltz; and also, Dr. Rhett Brown and Carl Brinson.
