He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Turner and Louise Percival Garwood; and his brother Milton Turner Garwood, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Beane Garwood; his sons, Derrick Eugene Garwood (Shannon) and Casey Allen Garwood (Jamie Hayden); his grandsons, Cole, Jackson and Hudson; and his sister Barbara Garwood of Asheboro, NC.. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
