He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Ragsdale, Sr. and Lena Cornelia Deaton Ragsdale; his grandparents, Clarence, Ada Meacham Deaton, Jacob Asbury and Etta Strickland Ragsdale; and his aunts, Rachel Lucille Deaton and Virginia Deaton Cox.

He is survived by: his brother Lee Ragsdale (Lisa) of Wingate, NC.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service for family only will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 11:00 am at Ridge Funeral Home, 908 Albermarle Road in Asheboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist Church, 224 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro NC 27203.
