He was predeceased by: his parents, Chesley Edwards and Grace Armfield Edwards; and his brothers, Junior, Charles, David and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Edwards; his children, Kimberly York (Alan) of Asheboro, Ashley Harger (Michael) of Asheboro and Cody Edwards (Madison) of Asheboro; his siblings, Margie Thompson of Mebane, Jerry Edwards (Ann) of Mayodan and Billy Edwards of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Channing York, Bodie Harger, Carlyn York, Finley Harger and Kennedy Edwards.
