He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Pugh; his parents, Fletcher Pugh and Bertha Morris Pugh; and his siblings, Hazel Deaton, Buck Pugh, Doris Ferguson and Helen Kivett.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Isom (Joe) of Asheboro, Cindy Comer (Bobby) of Ramseur and Ken Pugh (Lisa) of Liberty; and his grandchildren, Kristi Staley of Broadway, Adam Pugh (Tasia) of Pleasant Garden and Dylan Pugh of Liberty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
