He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Anthony Ritch Jr. and Lillian Parks Ritch; and his siblings, JoAnn Austell and Eugene Holdaway. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gail Ritch; his children, Teresa Ritch Beaver (Ronnie) of Asheboro, Michael Ryan Ritch (Dana) of Oak Island, NC and Allen Eugene Ritch of Asheboro; his sister Virginia Kidwell (Ray) of Warrenton, VA; his grandchildren, Chase Beaver, Tyler Beaver, Joseph Ritch, Christopher Ritch, Travis Ritch, Landon Ritch Ray, Brady Kearns, Caitlyn Rishel and Hailee Rishel; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Mann, Declan Beaver and Wyatt Beaver.

Memorials in his memory may be made to Rushwood Church, 1810 Old Farmer Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
