With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie Kennedy of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Pound, Virginia, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Kennedy and Lola Mullins Kennedy; and his siblings, Fran Heisey, Patty Mullins and Howard Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Branson Kennedy; his daughters, Bonita Kennedy Sheppard (Michael) and Knikki Leigh Kennedy; and his grandchildren, Zachary Edward, Sheppard, Katherine Ruth, Lura Grace, Branson Payne and Kendall Lynne.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
