He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Tysinger and Bertha Small Tysinger; his wife Betty Tysinger; and his siblings, Richard Tysinger and Janice Raby.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Tysinger (Sandra) of Asheboro and Ricky Tysinger (Beverly) of Mt. Gilead; his brothers, Kenneth Tysinger (Bobbie) of Asheboro and Charles Tysinger (Carolyn) of Asheboro; his granddaughters, Alyssa Frye (Josh) and Sarah Tysinger; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Smith (Colby), Collin Frye and Liam Frye.
