He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Johnson and Agatha McFarlin Johnson; and his siblings, Mary Johnson, Mae Hester Davis, Samuel Johnson Jr., Robert Johnson, Eulee Johnson and Madgie Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Shantine Bowden (Bobby Lee) of McLeansville and John Johnson of Ramseur; and his siblings, Randolph Johnson (Angeles) of Greensboro and Bonnie Martin (Lee) of Asheboro. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other acknowledged relatives.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203).
