He was predeceased by: his parents, Braxton Franklin Hill and Libby Dennis Hill of Virginia; and his siblings, Maggie Craven, Mary Catoe, Lois Jennings, Franklin Hill, David Hill, Dennis Hill and Calvin Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hill of Boulder, CO and Robin Hill of Weymouth, MA; his sister Becky Williams of Robbins; his grandchildren, John K. Goodrow Jr. of Abington, MA, Melissa M. Murphy of Weymouth, MA and Kirsten A. Murphy of Weymouth, MA; and his great grandchild Cora M. Goodrow.
