With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Herring of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on April 30, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rusell Harriott and Julia Harriott; her husband Rufus J. Herring; her children, Rufus Jr., Arthur, Becky (David Brennan) and Tammy; her grandsons, Sgt. Joseph Herring, James Brennan, Joshua Brennan, Arthur Jr. (Taylor) and Steven Herring; her great grandchildren, Kallie and Emery; her siblings, Joyce Rimsky, Eileen, Arthur Arnold, Charlie and Pat Harriott; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Herring.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Joan to Hospice of Randolph County or Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad.
