Jerry Southard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Southard of Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Southard and Verda Cagle Southard; and his daughter Kimberly Jeanette Southard. He is survived by: his wife Lila Southard; his sons, Derrick Southard and Jeremy Southard (Amber); his sisters, Patti Southard, Kathy Cooper (Perry) and Denise Schoenberger (Richard); his grandmother Ann Cox; his grandchildren, Dawson and Kinnon Southard; his pet Fluffy; his niece Ashley Ellis; and his nephew Josh White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (2235 Spero Rd, Randleman, NC 27317).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 2235 Spero Road, Randleman, NC 27317.
