He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Dickens; his sons, Bobby Dickens (Margaret) of Franklinville and Darrell Dickens of Asheboro; his brother Steve Dickens (Annie Sue) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Holly Hardister, Josh Dickens, Samantha Dickens and Jessie Lornson.
