She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Tillman Thomas (Annie Lee Seawell) and Jeanette; her husband Wilbur Henry Fields Jr. "Nick" (Nick); her daughter Lu Ann Fields; and her siblings, Harvey Jr. Thomas and Joyce Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, W. H. Fields III, Judy Fields Smith (Russ) of Asheboro, NC and Margaret Fields Lakey (Jonathan) of Salisbury, NC.; her grandchildren, Spencer Lakey (Jenna), Samuel Lakey (Kayla), Sarah Jane Lakey Holton (Kenneth), Carson Fields, Claire Fields and Jared Smith; her great grandchildren, Judah, Asher, Joseph, Sadie, Mason Lakey and Sylvie Faye Holton; her siblings, Joanne Thomas Kelly of Yorktown, VA, Jerry Thomas (Isabel) of Lillington, NC and Jimmy Thomas (Anne) of Richmond, VA.; and her siblings-in-law, Phillip Fields of Sanford, NC and Patsy McAllister (Warren) of Washington, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Faith and Love Baptist Church (2437 Old Farmer Road, Asheboro, NC 27205) reflecting Jeanette's lifelong commitment to her faith and helping others.
