He is survived by: his parents, John Avery Sharpe, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and Teresea Poteat Riner of Monroe, NC.; his daughter Haleigh Sharpe of Randleman, NC; his sisters, Nicole Sharpe of San Diego, CA and Lindsay Smith of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandfather John Sharpe, Sr. of Spartanburg, SC..
