She is survived by: her husband William C. Short of Asheboro; her children, Christopher Ray Short (Julie) of High Point, Katherine Michelle York (Todd) of Seagrove and Kara Ann Short of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob York of Seagrove and Colton Seubert of High Point; and her cousins, Charles Hayes of Summerfield and Lanora Hayes Robinson of Ramseur.
