She was predeceased by: her parents, George Manning Taylor and Sarah Alice McDaniel; and her sister Sarah Manning Spearman. She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Tony" Anthony McAlister (Vickie), Robert Scott McAlister (Susan), Leigh McAlister Gore (Doug) and George Marcus Allred (Tressia); her sisters, Molly Taylor of Atlanta, GA and Rachel Taylor of Knoxville, TN; and her sister-in-law Janice Murray. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Walk to Cure Alzheimer's Team" for their upcoming October 5th, 2024 event.
