He was predeceased by: his parent Earl E. Sutton; his brother Ralph T. Sutton; and his son-in-law Erik Jersted. He is survived by: his parent Gelia T. Sutton; his wife Rachel H. Sutton; his daughter Sharon Jersted of Ft; his husband David of Climax; his sister Merle Coble (Russell) of Greensboro; his siblings-in-law, Herbert Hussey and Faye Sutton; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Wray of Climax and Taylor Wray (Caroline) of Charlotte.
