He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Gardner and Elizabeth Barnes Gardner; and his sister Camilla Carroll Levien. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Jeff (Robin); his grandsons, Drew and Brad; his son Mike (Leah); his grandchildren, Taylor and Mary Margaret; his son Greg (Kelly); his grandsons, Wrenn and Blake; his daughter Julie (Chad); and his grandchildren, Ellie, Brooke and Grant.
