James Cranford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cranford of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Cranford; his father Elton; and his siblings, Myrtle Ruth Cranford, H. A. Cranford, Lonnie Cranford and Melvin Cranford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Nixon (Jeff) of Franklinville, Charlotte Cranford of Asheboro and Angie Bray (Greg) of Franklinville; his brothers, David Cranford (Ruth) of Asheboro, Roy Cranford (Sheila) of Asheboro, Rex Cranford (Alesia) of Asheboro and Robert Cranford (Janice) of New Bern; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Cranford of Greensboro and Renette Cranford of Asheboro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
