She was predeceased by: her parents, James McKenzie and Reverend Blanche Allen Johnson; and her siblings, David Johnson, Jim McKenzie, Bobby McKenzie and Mary Curtis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Danny McKenzie (Hazel) of Liberty, N. C, Tommy Johnson of Greensboro, N. C, Jesse Johnson of Ramseur, N. C, Frank McKenzie (Agnes) of Asheboro, N. C and Shirley Ernestine Johnson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.; her grandchildren, Reginald Michael Cheek (Roger Thompson) of Robbins, N. C and Alanah Shae McKenzie of Sanford, N. C; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Logan Cheek of Robbins, N. C. and Ja'hayla Mae Howell.
