He was predeceased by: his parents, Colvin Clarence Brown and Ethel Caroline Laughlin Brown; his wife Martha Ellen Glenn Brown; and his siblings, Betty Bowers, Ray Brown, J. B. Brown, Jimmy Brown and Allen Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Brown Barham (Don) of Cornelius, Mike Brown of Winston-Salem and Reid Brown (Terri) of Asheboro; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Brown of Asheboro and Don Hill of Dekalb, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
