We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2020, at the age of 93, Iris Cook Allen of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Cook and Jethro Cook; her husband J. B. Allen, Jr.; and her brothers, Kent Cook and Fayne Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Allen Spillane (Don) of Cary, NC and John B. Allen III of Pinehurst; her grandchildren, Caroline Allen (Victor Hernandez), Caitlin Bailey (Brian), Sara Lane (Christopher) and Samantha Spillane; and her great grandchildren, Eliza Lane, Ballard Lane, Shepherd Lane and Natalie Bailey.
