He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann McDonald Varner; his children, Tracey Lynn Hill (Marvin) of Asheboro, Linda Quenzer of Lancaster, PA and Thomas James Varner (Cassie) of Asheboro; his siblings, Ruth Byrd, Virginia Russell and Everett Varner of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Michael Hogan, Steven Hogan, Zachary Varner, Matthew Varner, Dakken Rodrigues, Victoria Quenzer and Jacqueline Quenzer.
