He is survived by: his former wife Ann; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebekah, Corbin, Cade Jarrett, Kierstan Smith Millen, Makenzie, Kaylee Smith, Brady and Carson Wright; his brother Rev. John F. Fischer (Jack); his stepson Michael O'Kelley; his sisters-in-law, Marie Samec (Jim) of Gainesville, FL and Susan Fischer of Walterboro, SC; his nieces and nephews, Shelley Samec of Gainesville, FL, Shannon Fischer of Goose Creek, SC, Rev. Chris Fischer (Beth) of Anderson, SC, Shawn Fischer (Andrea) of Ladson, SC, Jamie Fischer (Elaine) of Goose Creek, SC, Kirk Fischer (Andrea) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Brian Samec (Leslie) of Gainesville, FL.; his pet Willow Primrose Fischer; his caregivers, Brenda Foust, Janet Luck and Gail Hinesley; and also Tammy Potts-O'Kelley. He is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Michael and Tammy O (1061 Rockridge Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
