He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Brown and Nettie Kennedy Brown; his son Jeffrey Harold Brown; and his siblings, Essie Horne, Douglas Brown and Roy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Joyce Brown; his children, Joyce Brown Patram (Bruce) of Asheboro and Jackie Brown (Nita) of Denton; his sister Virginia Bruce of Robbins; his grandchildren, Jaren Wayne Brown, Christopher Aaron Brown and Ava Madison Patram; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Brown and Nevaeh Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
