It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Dean Bowen of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Harold Dean may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Bowen and Faye Ole Barton Bowen; his sons, James Bowen Sexton and Harold Dean Sexton; and his sisters, Faye Anne Bowen, Birdie McNeil and Donna Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Edna Bowen, Tabatha Massey (Joseph), Scottie Robertson (John) and Johnathan Bowen; and his sisters, Cheryl Pegrem and Teresa Murray. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
