Harold C. Newby Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold C. Newby of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Newby and Ollie Newby (Davenport); and his half-brother Roger D. Newby. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Newby; his daughter Laura Newby Harvey (Marcus) of Randleman; his grandsons, Adam Ray Harvey of Randleman and William Ryan Harvey of Randleman; his brother William "Raeford" Newby (Neva) of Sophia; his stepbrothers, Darryl "Butch" Hendrix of Asheboro and Ron Hendrix of Charlotte; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Newby, Ashley Newby Shiver (Michael) of Greensboro, Angel Hendrix Poindexter (Doug) of Asheboro, Larkin Newby (Thrya), Josh Chriscoe (Meg) of Charlotte and Barkley Hendrix of Asheboro; his great-nephews, Marshall Newby, Mitchel Newby, Matt Chriscoe, Ben Chriscoe, Drew Chriscoe and Tyler Newby; his mother-in-law Helen White of Asheboro; his sister-in-law Susan White of Charlotte; his cousin Barbara Covert; and his aunt Joan Allred of Ramseur.
