She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Brown and Nettie Brown; her husband John Louey Nance; her sons, Douglas Louey Nance and Dewayne Lee Nance; her grandchildren, Rhonda Suzette Woodell, Brian Lee Swart, Jamie Lee Moore and Larry Christopher Moore; and her siblings, Alene Martin, Jewel Lucas, Florence Kiser, Eddie Brown, Earl Brown and Eugene Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Morris Nance of Denton, Richard Nance (Linda) of Denton, Delores Swart (Doug) of Denton and Carol Langley (Barry) of Denton; and her siblings, Pearl Goins of Asheboro, Raiford Brown of Asheboro and Cline Brown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
