It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Cranford of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Chisholm and Vandie Williams Chisholm; and her daughter Dedra Lynn Cranford Routh. She is survived by: her husband Allen Ray Cranford; her son James Gralen Cranford (Cindy); her son-in-law Dan Routh; her grandchildren, Tristan Routh, Devin Routh (Liz Carter), James G Cranford II and Marcella Storie (Mitchell); her great grandchildren, Macie-Leigh Storie and Montgomery Storie; and her siblings, Charles Chisholm (Florence), Bernell Hanford and Nancy Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations made in Geraldine's honor to Randolph Hospice in Asheboro.
