It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Anderson of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorm Anderson and Lina Moore Anderson; and his son Gary Gene Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Spencer Anderson; and his sister Eulee Evans of Whiteville.
