He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Bennett Brake and Frances Quigley Brake; his daughter Heidi Michelle Brake Temple; and his brother John Michael Brake (Kathryn). He is survived by: his wife Molly Roberts Brake; his sons, Francis Bennett Brake, Jr. (Susan) of Swarthmore, PA and Todd Andrew Brake of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Jack, Charlotte and Will Brake of Swarthmore, PA; his stepson Lee Roberts (Sarahbeth); his stepgranddaughter Eleanor; his stepson Stewart Roberts (Cheryl); his stepgranddaughters, Josie of Asheboro, NC and Grace of Asheboro, NC; his niece Shepherd Brake Yenny (Chris); his great-nephew Christopher Yenny (Kaleigh); his great-nephew Frank Yenny (Charlotte); his niece Anna Brake Osterhout (Mark); his great-nephew Ben; his great-niece Kathryn; his sister Helen Brake McGrath; his sister-in-law Amy Brake; his nephew Jesse Brake; his son-in-law Craig Temple; and also Mac Yenny.
