It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Nichols Henslee of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Robstown, Texas, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Nichols and Fannie Nichols; and her husband Samuel Douglas Henslee. She is survived by: her sons, William Douglas Henslee, James Dowd Henslee and Thomas Taylor Henslee; her daughters-in-law, Janice and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Taylor Nichols and Virginia McCord Myers.
