He is survived by: his wife Judy Ward of Asheboro; his children, Adam Ward (Ashley) of Atlanta and Katie Gonzalez (Joe) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Piper, Ryder, Remy and Eliana; his brother Larry Ward (Barbara) of Asheboro; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Cox of Pleasant Garden.
