She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard O. Thompson and Florence Finck Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Steven Scheller of New London, NC, Lee A. Scheller of Sarasota, Laura Jean Scheller Moyer and Stephanie M. Scheller Lambert of Asheboro, NC; and her sister-in-law Ann Thompson of Sarasota. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203 to whom her family is grateful for their compassionate care of Evelyn.
