She was predeceased by: her husband Ray T. Dezern; and her brothers, Woodrow Jr., James Jr. and Ginger Joyce, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Joyce Dezern of Asheboro and Deborah Dezern-Rohr (Larry) of Centerville, VA; her grandchildren, Dawn Richardson and Megan Ball (Trever); her great grandchildren, Austin, Bridgette and Chelsey; her great great grandchildren, Brody and Jordan; her sister Minnie Caviness of Liberty; and her grandchildren, Murphee May and Maggie May.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Mrs. Dezern's memory to Pittsboro Christian Village, 1825 East St., Pittsboro, NC 27312.
