It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Ruth Wrenn of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Eugene "Gene" Wrenn; her parents, W. H. Stevenson and Serella Barber Stevenson; her grandson Chad Walters; and her brother Donald Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Edwards (Barry), Pamela "Pam" Wrenn and Susan "Susie" Wrenn; her grandchildren, Barry Edwards, Jr. (Julia) and Brittney Peterson (Dustin Teal); and her great grandchildren, Brooke Edwards, Max Edwards of Christopher, Powell, Jr., Chad Peterson and Zayne Teal.
